This will be the 6^th year when a PCI team has gone to serve God in OC Randalstown. In the past few years the team has built up a great relationship with the church and has been incredibly blessed by God as He has done immeasurably more than we could have asked or imagined!

This year we hope to serve God and show God’s love to the people of Randalstown in a number of ways.  We will have team devotions and quiet times each day to allow our relationships with God to develop.  In the mornings we plan to work within the community.  In the past this has involved visiting nursing homes, visiting members of the congregation, door to door work, gardening, cleaning and coffee mornings.  

In the afternoons in the past we have held a football academy and have had dance and drama workshops for girls. The team has been able to build relationships with the young people through these activities and have had the opportunity to share their testimonies.

The evenings are action packed with a Holiday Bible club where we seek to present the gospel in a clear, simple way to allow God to cause a response in the lives of the children.  After the Holiday Bible Club we have an event for teenagers.  In previous years we have had photo challenges, games nights, treasure hunts and a crystal maze challenge.  Each night we seek to develop relationships with the young people and present the gospel clearly through dramas, testimonies and a talk. Some members of the team have done some detached work in the evenings in the local estate.

Randalstown is a busy team but it is a great team for discovering the gifts that God has given you. God has moved in mighty ways there and I believe He has only just begun! It’s exciting!
