Who Can Apply & What’s Expected?

This mixed team for young adults is being organised through the Board of Youth & Children’s Ministry.

Applicants MUST be –

- Actively involved in a PCI congregation and aged between 18 and 25 on 1st July 2013.

- Physically fit and able to cope with a busy and intense schedule of activities.

- Have experience in children’s ministry and enjoy leading and teaching young people.

- Prepared to attend training and team meetings on a number of occasions before going – for prayer, preparation, orientation and team-building.

- Committed, on return, to attend a ‘team debrief’ and share in ‘reporting back’.


Where Is The Team Going?

The team will travel to the town of Geoagiu (‘Algyogy’in Hungarian) in Transylvania, Romania. The camp will be situated at the IKE Youth Centre in the town [www.algyogy.ro/en/].


Who Will The Team Be Working With?

The team will work closely with PCI missionaries, Csaba and Ilona Veres and family, who are based in Cluj-Napoca.  Csaba is the General Secretary for IKE, an independent youth movement within the Transylvanian District of the Hungarian-speaking Reformed Church in Romania (HRC), which works with local church-based Reformed youth groups, providing leadership training; while also organising and running youth programmes, mission events and summer camps.
