We aim to provide support and networking for the growing number of people working full time in ministry with young people and children. This section is intended as a resource for those, highlighting some of the means of support available.

Each month in 2004/5 there has been a meeting open to anyone working full time in ministry with young people and children. These take the form of a very informal meeting starting with coffee and scones and including a time to chat and encourage one another. We have invited a variety of people to lead a short devotional time before giving time to pray for one another in small groups before lunch.

All dates are on Thursdays.
FTYW days are for fellowship, devotion & prayer, starting at 10.30 with coffee & ending with lunch
Training days run from 10am to 1pm (no lunch).

Our annual retreat this year was in February at Castlewellan Castle and was facilitated by Rev. Lorraine Kennedy-Ritchie. The retreat for 2006 is already being planned, but there is no truth in the rumour that Grand Canaria Presbyterian Church Hall has already been booked…
