» SWIM TEAM

So what do these four people have in common??  They are our newest recruits for the PCI SWIM team.  Nadine, Nathan, Lindsey and Myles have just embarked on a year long adventure with PCI.  During this year they will be working in 3 different placements, two here in Ireland and one overseas.  They will be involved in children's ministry, worship, youth ministry, drama and much, much more.  As members of the SWIM team they will be hosted by different congregations, and will become part of these congregations for a short period of time during the year.  During this time they will also receive training for the work they will be doing.

They are excited to begin this adventure together, to serve one another, and to become part of their host congregations for a year.

The team have 3 different placements.  The 1st Placement is in Drumgooland and Kilkinamurry,  2nd Placement is 1st Donegore  and the 3rd Placement will take place in Ukraine.

» Prayer Letter

Give thanks for:

The warm welcome and overwhelming generosity of the congregations of Drumgooland and Kilkinamurray.

Our accommodation, the most beautiful cottage, and the hospitality of the families with which Nathan and Myles are staying.

The good weather which will enable the local farmers to bring in the harvest.

The number of young people who attended the BBQ which was our first opportunity to meet with them.

The first meeting of our new youth fellowship programme and the relationships which are starting to form.

How we are forming friendships within the team, and how God has given us all different gifts which we will use to glorify him.

Pray that:

God will continue to work in Drumgooland and Kilkinamurray, blessing Michael in his role as minister.

We as a team will settle into the church and local community.

The weather will continue to stay dry for the harvest.

God will lead us in our programme preparation for youth fellowship and the after school club in Drumadonnell primary school.

The ministries we are involved in would continue to grow in Christ and we will build strong relationships with those we encounter, particularly the young people.

We as a team would be united in or aims, encouraging each other and bearing with one another in love.
