There are countless voices that clamour to be heard in our world. Many call us to go with the flow, to satisfy our own needs and desires. Amid this noise there is a still small voice that speaks life. Jesus calls us to swim against the flow, in a narrow channel that brings Life; Life in all its fullness.

This is an exciting opportunity offered by the Board of Youth and Children's Ministry. For the past 5 years this scheme has been supplying congregations with full-time volunteers with a remit to minister to its young people and children in a real and relevant way.

Through this scheme we are seeking young committed Christians both from Ireland and Overseas who have a hunger and passion for youth and children's ministry and the development of young people and children.

SWIM VOLUNTEER
As a volunteer working with PCI for one year, you will be placed in a congregation where you will have the opportunity to build quality relationships and share your faith with many children and young people.  The congregation will provide accommodation and all work related expenses. The Board of Youth and Children's Ministry will provide regular pastoral support and give you a grant towards further training, such as the Certificate in Youth Ministry or Certificate in Children's Ministry.
